Rosa 25:1

Rosa 25:1 is a full spectrum oral oil extracted from Pink Kush, an indica dominant cultivar.

Product Introduction

Kind Rosa 25:1 is a full spectrum oil with high concentrations of THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol) and low levels of CBD (cannabidiol). All medicinal cannabis products that contain THC are psychoactive and may lead to temporary neurocognitive impairment.

Rosa 25:1 is available in a 30mL oil bottle and is designed for oral ingestion. It contains a full spectrum cannabis extract with olive oil as a carrier. It can be taken on a metered dosage schedule or as needed (PRN) as determined by prescribers. We recommend patients work closely with their doctor as dosing schedules are highly individual and guided by therapeutic response.

Dosing & Titration

This medicine is designed for oral ingestion. It comes with a 1mL syringe marked with 0.1mL increments. It is important to understand the total active ingredients (e.g. THC and CBD) contained in the medicine to prevent over-medicating.

Patients and prescribers should work together to determine the optimal dosing schedule where the medical benefit is maximised. We recommend the “start low, go slow” approach, where patients start with a low dose and slowly increase (or titrate) until the optimal therapeutic benefit is achieved.

Below is an example of a titration schedule:

Accurate dosing and titration of medicinal cannabis flower can be challenging. For reliable and repeatable dosing of medicinal cannabis, patients should pay close attention to the administration conditions and aim to replicate them consistently.

Administration Through Ingestion

This medicine is for oral ingestion only. It should not be vaporised or combusted under any circumstances as this may lead to serious health risks.

Oral ingestion of cannabis oil provides slower onset and longer effects than inhalation. It can take between 1 and 3 hours for effects to be felt and they can last from 6 to 8 hours.1 Patients who are new to administering cannabis oils should exercise caution and wait up to 120 minutes after the initial dose to assess the effects before administering any further medicine.2

This medicine can be taken with or without food, though we recommend administering after a meal for greater absorption.
